Inside Error Bibliothèque you are immersed in the visceral world of the printed page, the musky odor of old books, the textured differences in binding and text blocks, the mark of time and space on these discarded texts re-presented as an homage, monument or tomb to the age of print. With an emphasis on books from the small language groups of Nordic and Baltic States it calls into question aspects of identity and the future of our languages in the age of the World Wide Web and new technologies.
Error Library Was originally installed in Culture Factory Polymer to insulate Ilus Salong from the cold of winter. Satellites of the original installation are planned and in progress.
